The BMW Landshut Plant is an important part of the BMW Groups production network since 1967. The components produced in Landshut are delivered to automotive and engine plants all over the world and are used in almost all vehicles of the BMW Group. About 3.000 associates produce components of light metal casting, plastic components for interior and exterior, CFRP components, drive trains, exchange engines and electrifying components. The plant is involved with the development of new vehicles at an early stage with the LITC, the Landshut Technology and Innovation Centre.

Exclusive Guided Tour


Guided tours take place Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm. One of our experts will guide your group (maximum of 30 people) through the production and focus on your interests and favourite topics as far as possible. This exclusive guided tour costs 130,- Euro for a group of maximum 30 people. Exclusive tours are currently only available in German.

Two in one guided tour „High-tech region Lower Bavaria“


Visit the high-tech region Lower Bavaria with its two BMW plants in Dingolfing and Landshut. Experience the highly innovative and specialized production areas in both plants. The plant in Dingolfing is the largest vehicle plant of the BMW Group where approximately 18.500 associates produce the BMW 3, 5, 6 and 7Series.

The required parts are also delivered from Landshut, located just 30 kilometres away. Parts made in Landshut are used in every single BMW, Mini or Rolls Royce around the world. In Landshut, highly specialized associates produce parts for plastics exterior, cockpit and equipments features, drive trains, light weight castings, super light carbon components, exchange engines and electric power systems.

We are very happy to offer this two in one guided tour “High-tech region Lower Bavaria” for a special price of 230 € (regular price 260 €). The guided tour will take about 5 hours.
